Like in his canon feral form, Visha suffers from his episodes in his human AU form. But in this case the episodes revolve around bringing on his shift against his will, and once they take over, he completely loses himself to the bloodlust. Some days he's able to get by without a hitch, others he feels the pull starting to hit him but he's able to resist with the help of his best buddy Kane.

..then some days he's helpless, and nothing he does seems to save himself from the curse.

For Visha, the transformation is slow and painful, and it absolutely terrifies him knowing at any moment he'll lose himself. Whilst in these episodes, there's many things he's done that he will come to regret. But the thing that Visha loves more than anything is those close to him, so the knowledge that he is a huge threat to his friends kills him inside every day. Of course Kane cares about him too much to abandon him, no matter how far into his insanity Visha spirals.
