Again the composition is excellented presented. I look upon this piece as a symbolic union of man & woman/ yin & yang joined as one in a cocoon. The holding of hands was an excellent idea for it shows a physical bond between the two but it also helps with the visual imagery of the yin & yang idea presented here. And what beautiful "butterfly" should spring forth from this cocoon....only those who know no boundaries or borders will know.

Interesting... I love the suggustive use of the infinity symbol present in their pose... the one blending of one into another... begining without end, end without begining... ver nice shot!

A pure thought, it is a shame it has to be described as a new idea to so many.
Beautiful.

Now that is a shot to be proud of. The meanings, the symbolism, the imagery... just everything about it is wow.
You could do an entire spread in a magazine like Nylon with a subject like that.

Despite what other commenters say, I love this photograph. The connection between these two people you have created is amazing. Excellent lighting, perfect angle and the cover makes it even more unique. BRAVO!

I really like the concept of this...powerful, moving, insightful.
I have to say that being such a perfectionist, the covering that they used doesn't really work for me.
1. The covering comes down to his bottocks, but on her comes up to her high back. This seems a bit uneven.
2. I would have rather had no covering at all. I know that this would have changed the photo quite a bit, but I think it would have been more powerful.....un-ashamed, with nothing to hide. Not naked, but nude as in transparent.
3. If you kept the covering, I would have smoothed it a bit more, so that it created more of an un-ending circle.
4. I like the look on her face, but considering the fact that he is not looking at the screen/camera I would have her looking down as well.
I think if the lighting was a bit more contrasty and defined it would also give this more character. A little oil on the skin would also have helped.
This reminds me of a Maplethorpe type image. I hope that isn't bad.
I think if that is a good thing, then a little tweaking would make it all the better.

Spectacular. The fact that this image can communicate its feeling and purpose without needing words is outstanding. The colors, the contrast, the compisition are all fantastic, and the subject is really moving. This is a great bit of work.
