Darkest bloomIn this forest deep,
impenetrable to sun or rain
forever dark and green.
On a mushroomed carpet
Behind a twisted curtain,
tangled vines, reclaimed
In this shadowed sanctuary, decay
There is a purple bush in bloom
where, no bloom should be.
Untouched and unseen
a flower that calms
the heart to rest, digitalis.
