Description
Three original Oddworld characters of my "original sequel idea" of an Oddworld game I was working on.

Meet Zoet, her ride Gnash and Lum, her little "magic spirit".

Zoet is a guardian healer who lives in a holy desert full of magical oasis that have the power of healing anyone who drinks it. Since that water is really profitable, for some time industrials have tried to take over the land and exploit the magical benefits of it. The whole area is surrounded by a magical field that plays tricks on people's minds like mirages, hallucinations and spirit presences. Those traps were enough to scare off industrials or unwanted creatures... until a new threat was about to strike the holy desert: a non-Magog industrial force composed also with corrupted native wizards was going to push this offensive and breach through the field. Zoet and all the guardians alone couldn't stand a chance this time, so they had to send a S.O.S. in order to find help to protect the sacred land.
The band recieved the S.O.S. signal and they scrambled to get there as soon as possible. Zoet was initially very skeptical since she didn't trust the industrials in the band, but their help was essential to destroy the heavy machinery that were coming to suck up all the water. Grateful to the band, Zoet and all the other guardians granted access to the oasis so they could use the water for a greater good. The band also helped to enhance the defenses to better protect the land. Zoet decided that she needed to repay for all the gratitude by joining the band and helping with the cause.

Zoet and her race communicate through telepathy, since they don't have mouths. This alone is enough to throw off some individuals who are very supersitious or afraid of magical beings. She isn't a fighter, even if she can drain/give life energy through any creature by touching them.

Gnash, her ride, is a perfect mount for desert areas. He's very tall if compared with Zoet, so every time she needs to mount/dismount, Gnash has to lower down (this is a running joke through the band). Gnash can also spit a very dangerous acid goo.

Lum is Zoet's magic spirit and he can track down magical entities, scare off trespassers and drop life essence on any living form.

This draw is part of the Oddworld Band idea I was creating since many years, a band consisting of both natives and industrials working together and againts all the odd to overthrow the evils of Oddworld, not just related to the Magog Cartel and its affiliates.

I'm not a great artist by any means, I know there's still a lot of improvements when it comes to shading and general outlining. But it was useless to keep everything hidden without showing the world how awesome the Oddworld series is, and I've seen a lot of great arts about it!
