Description
This is a glowing core drill from TTGL that I made using GIMP. I used a static source pic, cut out the shape of the drill, then added layers (i.e. frames) with increasing blurring to give the effect of the drill glowing. Very basic, but it was fun.It is also my current avatar.

It was pretty easy. Anyone that can spend 15 minutes in GIMP or Photoshop could have done the same. Β

Hey, I know I comented on this forever ago, but I am working on a birthday animation for a friend of mine and I want to make as many interface references as possible, I was wondering if I could use this as a temporary cursor in the flash?
I'll toats give credit and I already have implemented code, so if you say no, I can just swap it out with my crappier version.

You know....I think there is a Core Drill toy out there.....has a little green bulb inside that lights up.
At least, I think I saw one several years ago when I went to a flea market. I didn't get it then because I didnt have my wallet.....didn't know it was Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, but I still thought it was cool. Man, I SO wish I had made my dad buy it for me back then!
