hi all, it`s oh so cold out, but I couldn`t resist this small outing to the river, to share with you the intense beauty of our Canadian winter
This water is part of the St.Lawrence River, which forms the border between Canada and the US. So, we had minus 18C today. (that's actual temp, not including the chillfactor, which can easily make it 10degrees colder). I only managed a short time outside, even with gloves on the fingers on my right hand were screaming. I did this 3 times today, telling myself I was being rather dumb, but going anyway.
These pictures were taken just after a waterdrop where the water`s really wild, that`s why the freezing looks so spectacular. I have some more pics, hope to upload them soon. Hope you enjoy them as much as it thrilled me to see these breathtaking sights

ETA: even i myself had never been at this particular spot in the 10 yrs I've been here. Didn't know we had such a beautiful little landmark not even 5 minutes drive from my home. I'm sure I'll be returning here more often!
