Description I had fun with the light in this watercolour! Though I really felt I'd taken on something a little over-ambitious!

For something overambitious you did wonderfully. I think this is my favorite in the flowers folder...

This is gorgeous!!! And you did take on quite a bit, but I also see that you did not let that stop you!!!!!
This *cow parsley* we call *Queen Annes Lace*... the flower itself is made up of tiny flowerettes....and you *captured* their delicacy so beautifully!!! :clap

spectacular painting! you can almost feel the sun. and i love how you left spots white with the masking fluid. it really gives it something extra.

I love the sunny feeling of this pic too, I imagine myself lying under the flowers looking up through them. Thanks

Trippy! I love the viewpoint on this! You really know how to make a floral exciting. The angles of the plants keep pulling my eyes all around the page, and the layout is really gorgeous. Fabulous job with the whites of the blossoms. I don't know if you reserved the whites with mask or scraped them off later or what, but it looks awesome.

Great work.

I used masking fluid for the whites. Thanks again for more lovely comments

very nice!

My mother always called it "Queen Anne's Lace", but I had never heard "cow parsley" before.

Interesting.

I think this is very pretty. Good job!

Great viewpoint - it feels very summer-y. The colour graduation in the sky and the detail in the foliage at the front give a nice illusion of space.
