Malika-Draws ' mother is getting on her case about still watching The Lion King, and saying things like she's too old for that.So I asked if it would make her feel better if I posted pictures of the Lion King stuff in my room, and she said yes
So here are all of the Lion King things I have on my bed and in my secretary right now.
There are 22 Lion King/Guard plushies (including custom-made ones of Asante) and a floor pillow, one Lion Guard blanket which I got from Fyrewalk for Christmas a few years ago, and a few more lion stuffed animals to fit the theme. I also have 2 TLK figurines (one is Kion and the other is Lion Sora) in my secretary.
The pins behind glass are only some of my favorite Lion King ones, and you can see that Scar has his own section at the bottom.
Not pictured are as follows:
The rest of my Lion King enamel pin collection (some on a lanyard)
Three copies of the movie
Five books
Three Christmas ornaments (one hand-made)
Eight T-Shirts
Three coffee mugs
One Lion Guard mouse-pad
A few iron-on patches that I'm going to add to my denim jacket soon
Odds and ends, and I can't remember every one of them.
I am an adult nearing 30 years, and I'm not too old for Lion King, and if you're reading this, then neither are you 😊

Hey I have the Simba/Nala pillow in my room too! And my little sister has some of those tlg plushes! It’s so cool that you are willing to show this much enthusiasm for this movie and the show, and I hope others won’t be ashamed to enjoy something as amazing as tlk. I admire you for this

Thank you! I think more people should show more unabashed enthusiasm for the things they're passionate about. It can make one feel quite vulnerable to have so many things like this on display, but as the saying goes,
"The people who mind don't matter, and the people who matter don't mind"!
As for where I find all of this stuff... Well, a lot of places!
Zareidy made the custom plushies of Asante (The brown lion cub on the right hand side of my stereo)
And I found at least one of my Simba plushes, as well as many of my t-shirts, at Kohl's.
I got Baby Simba second-hand from my little sister (he's missing his leaf, but I don't mind).
Quite a few of my plushies were sought out online, and the Nala next to the Eevee was a Christmas gift from one of my students. The rest of the TLK/G plushies were found in Target, Wal-Mart or in Disneyland.
And thennn.... A few of my pins were bought at Disneyland, and a lot of them were traded for, gifted, or bought online.

I agree. People just get so caught up in trying to please others with the things they do, they often forget that they do it for themselves and should therefore be trying to make themselves (and the people who really know and accept them) happy.
I gotta go tlk shopping now lol
