Heh sorry for the corny title
My first fan art for Mass Effect. Been wanting to do this for ages (since the first game in fact) but I had always been side-tracked by something else.
In my opinion, Bioware should've featured both versions of Commander Shepard in their promotions. All we get to see is the male Shep and while he's quite the eye candy, the voice acting of the female Shepard is far superior to the male one. I know what I'm talking about because I've played both versions. (Note: Look I think Mr. Meer is fantastic, which is why I know ManShep could be better. He should be better.)
I know I've abused the tattoo thing to death in yet another Bioware game but I simply couldn't resist doing it again. It just had to be done.
I'm not happy with the way I did the biotic effects but I'll keep on practicing - hopefully I'll get better at it

Yeah. I hope in future games they feature the protagonists of both genders. Clinging to the idea that only guys play video games is so old-fashioned and utterly false.

I've got a really big apology to make... 
When I joined, me and the acting admin of the time started posting only when we could provide links and reference. Then, when I became the main admin of the page a year ago, I promised myself I'd only upload pictures in future that I had actually *asked* artists permission to do so. But that didn't help all the pictures in the albums by artists like yourself that didn't have links. I didn't have the heard to delete them as they were previous admin's contributions, so I've been steadily keeping an eye out every time I spot a picture I recognised from the folder that didn't have a link to it. Hence... by pure accident, I have found your piece here!
Please accept my deepest apologies for only finding you now. Your picture is presently here - [link] - and I've updated the caption to include a link back to your original here on DA. I would completely understand if you would prefer I take the picture down from the album, in which case just let me know on here and I will oblige. Once again, really sorry it was uploaded without your permission, worse without even a link to your original!
On a side note I'd just like to say it's nice to see fanart that shows both Shepards. We could play as a man or a woman, I think that needs greater recognition and less of this "There is only MALESHEP" or "FEMSHEP is the only Shep" attitude. Thank you for doing that.

My pleasure! No worries you don't have to take it down, it's ok to post it in your group. One of reasons why I placed a watermark on my images is that, aside from discouraging art theft, it's so someone can Google my name in case they wanted to look me up (some my images do tend to go around cyberspace). If you still need help finding out the original sources of the other works in your gallery you may want to try using one of those reverse-search engines like TinEye .

Nah it's just a search engine for images. Uploading it or putting the direct URL is your way of showing the engine which image you want to use in your search. Google has it's own image search engine too just go to Images and click on the camera icon in the search bar instead of the magnifying glass icon. You'll need to upload or put the image's URL too.

Thanks! Nope they're not photos, I made this one using 3D models and the sun in the background is just something I painted in Photoshop. When I use stock photos (which I rarely do, the latest one being [link] ) I always credit the source.

I see what you mean about the biotics... I think it needs to be pulled away further from the skin instead of directly on it, sort of like an electric current

Nope, Jenifer Hale is not "far superior" to Mark Meer... this guy is soo good at voice acting that he plays like 10 diferent roles in DA

You're mistaking my comment about one character for a comment on an actor's body of work. I never generalised that "Jennifer Hale is far superior that Mark Meer" - I was talking about Shepard specifically. I'm familiar with Mr. Meer's other roles - the guy's fantastic and very versatile - which makes Shepard a letdown in comparison.

Female Shepard is better because male Sherpard can't act for crap. Compared to all the other excellent voice acting in the game the guy who does male shepard's voice sounds dull and lacks any passion, it is like he is just saying his lines instead of acting.
However your art work is infinitely times better than that, and while that could be seen as comparing it to horse sh@t I assure you I really like your work.

Why thank you. I was searching far and wide for some MirandaxJack and I found someone who modded their game to have a romance scene with them, so I took a screencap and shrunk it down to size.

These Shepards are reversed in how I would make them.
My Shepards are:
Male - Biotic
Female - Soldier
In fact, I have a fan fic planned where Male Shepard and Female Shepard are brother and sister, but I've only played the second game (on the PS3), and I don't have the ambition to write it.
