(e/c) orbs suited the smile she offered to her husband upon his waving hand and radiant expression from the other side of the train station as the vehicle started moving. (y/n) watched him at the distance as his figure grew smaller and smaller until disappearing from sight, and her mind started wandering through until she reached destination.

She couldn't say she didn't love him. He filled her days with comfortable moments and sweet chatting. He worked hard to give her all she wanted withouth her having to move a finger. They lived in a fancy house with a back yard and they had a nice car to go on small relaxing trips during his short holidays.

But it was not enough for (y/n). She didn't want to stay a housewife all her life. She wanted adventure, adrenaline. And what better than a surprise visit to a friend to give her that?

No did her naive husband know that this so called 'friend' she talked about wasn't one of her high school cheer team's partner. But he didn't have to, right?

As soon as the train parted, Levi stuck his hands back into his pockets and walked to the parking lot, deleting the small smile he gifted his wife with as she departed. He wanted to assure her that no trouble would come, and that she should have fun during her trip. As he sat in the car, he lit a cigarette and watched the smoke draw shapes in front of him.

He couldn't say he didn't love her. She was the one who confessed to him when he assumed he would end up being the male version of a cat lady. She was the one who brought pastel colors into his life, taking away all the grimm and darkness.

Yet that was not what he was craving for. He craved for crimson, electric blue, blinding light. He was eager for passion that comes in more ways than just sex. He longed for the type of passion that made his heart ache while counting the seconds to see that person again.

Steel blue eyes gazed at his phone and Levi scowled at the unmoving numbers. Still twenty fucking minutes left to see her. His fingers twitched to send her a text to know if she was close, but he knew better. The less contact the better, or so she had told him during their last encounter.

With an annoyed sigh, Levi shook his head. He should stay put and wait.

Because as she caught the steel blue eyes staring at her from behind the wheel of a sleek black car, she felt her heart soar.
