Perhaps Jean has returned as Phoenix again. The Dark Tickling Phoenix could definitely do this to the boys.

I wonder if another possibility for this picture is if somehow Forge was behind the toothbrushes. Maybe he was trying to improve on some electric toothbrushes which malfunctioned a little as they can be known to do. They might be artificially intelligent toothbrushes with tickle fetishes. Perhaps Emma found out about this and decided to have a little fun which could explain Hank and Logan ended up blindfolded and chained. They wake up from the telepathically introduced black out just as the toothbrushes were released into the room by Emma...

It is a definite possibility. It's not uncommon for Forge's inventions to have some glitches in them. I could see Emma finding out about these special toothbrushes and using them for her own pleasure. I don't think the two guys will last too long against a bunch of toothbrushes that love to tickle.

It would be even worse if say Forge had also equipped them with anti-gravity technology so they were free-floating so you could have your teeth brushed while concentrating on other things. I think Hank might cope a little better since he likes being tickled but it could get too intense in the end. Hopefully once the poor guys have passed out from exhaustion the toothbrushes will get bored and go off to seek other prey. They'll probably be a minor nuisance to take down though and Emma and Forge aren't going to be too popular.

That seems to be the case here since the toothbrushes seem to be floating in the picture. A nightmare for some since they are now almost like a living thing that can move and think on their own. I'm sure Hank and Logan will be praying to pass out quickly to end their suffering. I think after there would be a ban of all electric toothbrushes from the mansion and any that were presently there would be destroyed immediately.

I would imagine they might not get all of them and one or two would slip out and into the world. Maybe they might even come across the Sentinel facilities and Master Mold. That could be a disaster of major proportions if the toothbrushes decided to ally with the Sentinels...

LoveMyBlueBully In reply to Lylithix [2010-02-17 10:37:13 +0000 UTC]
Oh geez. Master Mold might then equip the sentinels with electric toothbrushes and make them even more terrifying to the mutant population. I imagine that the toothbrushes who escaped the mansion would want some assistance in getting revenge on the X-men who destroyed all of their kin.

You might also get miniature flying Sentinels, perhaps with grappling tentacles and all sorts of other attachments like electric toothbrushes and fluffy dusters, perhaps also a modified taser-like device to directly stimulate the nervous system to induce a tickling response. Master Mold and the toothbrushes could probably come up with something like that working together. Of course they would probably also try and kidnap Forge so he could create more of their kin and eventually the toothbrush/Sentinel army will subdue the entire mutant population and take over the world.

That sounds terrifying. Little flying sentinels that could just swoop down and tickle a person in a large variety of ways. Hopefully they wouldn't be able to get to Forge. I think since he created them though he might be the one person who knows how to stop them.

Perhaps Forge could rig his cybernetic arm and leg to emit a massive electromagnetic pulse, that if all the toothbrushes are gathered in one place could permanently short them out. Of course that would probably also short out his arm and leg, so he might need to have the X-Men come and pick him up so he could get back to the mansion and switch to his spare limbs.

He could just have Nightcrawler waiting on him to take out the toothbrushes and then pop in just of the nick of time to teleport him to safety. Though without the use of one of his arms and his legs I could see Kurt taking advantage of Forge's helpless situation and getting in some good tickling time.

Forge will probably be trying his best to crawl away while saying something like. "Aww come on Kurt, just get me out of here. Hey put those toothbrushes down? No..give me my boot back...and my sock. No...not the tail...not my ribs...hahahahahahahahahaah...wait..what are you...a toothbrush...not the toes...ahahahahahahahahahahahaha!"

Haha, I expect it will be something very similar to that. Poor Forge. He's such an easy target for Kurt.

Though if the other X-Men here about what Kurt put poor Forge through after he'd been so brave, they might perhaps help him to get a little revenge on Kurt.

I'm sure they would have a lot of sympathy for Forge and would definitely help him get Kurt back. Put a collar on him and hold him down while Forge has a go at him.

Then after Forge has had his turn, perhaps anyone else who wishes can also take their turn. It might keep Kurt quiet and even make the mansion a tickle-free zone for a few days.

Well I'm sure they'll be ready and not want to let Kurt think he was in control so it would be an epic battle for sure. One of them has to give up eventually though.

I expect more than likely Wolverine will still be around then, though maybe with some grey in his hair and perhaps he gets the odd ache in his adamantium laced bones. He'll probably still be just as ticklish though and Nightcrawler's great grandchildren will be carrying on the family tradition.

I think after being tickled for all those years, Wolverine will probably not be bothered by it anymore and might even instigate fights with the new generation of Nightcrawlers.

Yes, by then he'd probably have learnt to appreciate it. It would be interesting to see if he could keep up with the new generation or perhaps tell them that the original was still the best at what he did.

I think if he wanted to antagonize them then he could say that the original was the best. That would probably just get them trying harder but he'd be loving it.

I wonder if you'd then have Scott's descendant walking past and seeing Wolverine rolling around laughing, tell him he's supposed to set a good example and shouldn't he be acting his age? Then of course we know what happens next.

LoveMyBlueBully In reply to Lylithix [2010-02-27 09:06:46 +0000 UTC]
lol I can imagine Scott's descendant being just like him personality wise. Making uppity ass comments during Wolverine and the Nightcrawler's tickling fun is just going to make them think he needs to loosen up a bit. As they run after him Scott's descendant will probably be yelling at them to leave him alone and to stop being childish, but once they catch him that'll all be drowned out by his laughter.

Lylithix In reply to LoveMyBlueBully [2010-02-28 00:08:20 +0000 UTC]
Exactly, Scott's descendant will realise he's just made the same mistake his grandad did and that Wolverine may be old but he's still going strong. Then he's saved when Hank's descendant arrives and starts another tickle fight with Logan and Nightcrawler IV because he doesn't want to miss out on the fun.

Logan will tell Scott's descendant as he is tickling him that he is just like his grandad; has a large stick up his ass and really needs to lighten up a little more. Then after a couple minutes Logan and Nightcrawler IV will be surprised by a big blue Beast tackling them and instigating a tickle fight with them. Meanwhile Scott's descendant will think about it and realize that Wolverine was right about him and decide that maybe he should try to have a little more fun. Then he'll get up and run over to the fight and jump right in shouting "Make way for the new Scott!"

I don't think anyone would be expecting that so he might well catch them off guard. A few minutes later and it will probably be over, Wolverine having been the first to fall since he's not quite as young as he used to be, while Nightcrawler IV was caught in Beast III's patented Bearhug of Doom and tickled into submission with his own tail. Cyke-O though managed to get Beast IV off guard and those big blue feet proved his downfall. Cyke-O is standing by the fallen, grinning and flexing his muscles when Icedude sneaks up on him and dumps a massive amount of icecubes down his shirt.

Scott Summers III chose the codename because he thought it would make him seem more 'cool' and had a hint of danger. It's the same reason why he grew the goatee. He might seem as uptight as his predecessors but he's just been pushed so far it's finally loosened him up. From now on he's going to be living life on the edge and he's just discovered he's got a natural talent. Icedude was just expecting Cyke-O to freak out, not charge him, wrestle him to the ground and tickle him in the armpits until he's basically a giggling wreck. By now Wolverine's starting to recover until Cyke-O pulls his boots off and starts playing 'This Little Piggy'. Over time Cyke-O builds a reputation to rival that of the first Nightcrawler.

I think eventually there would be one Scott descendant who broke the mould so it might as well be Cyke-O. There would be challengers and perhaps he wouldn't hold onto the title forever but I think he would prove that just because you're a Summers doesn't mean you have to be a stick in the mud. Even Wolverine might agree with a little friendly persuasion.

That would be Connor Creed, aka Smilodon and the son of Sabretooth and Mystique. He inherited his father's powers and looks but his mother's devious nature and a love of tickling he shares with his half-brother. He's a pretty easy-going guy though and though he's got something of his father's wild nature and hunting instincts, he's got a streak of compassion and while he likes brawling he doesn't like killing. He'd much rather rough house or get in a tickle fight and while he's ticklish himself he actually likes it as much as Beast did. He's a very skilled hunter and very accomplished as a tickler. While he might not win every fight he doesn't mind losing since he'll get tickled and so he's a winner either way.

It's just interesting to think up new characters and as it will have been going on for a long time, there are bound to be some surprising ticklers out there. I'm not sure what Wolverine would think of Smilodon since he would probably have had a few run ins with him, though they might have teamed up against his dad a time or two. Probably a nice guy once you get to know him but one to be weary off if you don't like tickling so much.
