LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT HOMESTUCK (lol jk)
Homestuck is a very popular and very long (I'm talking over 7,000 pages bro) created by Andrew Hussie, whom despite being so popular and a celebrity in the Fandom, has kept pretty much his ENTIRE LIFE out of the reach of Homestuck readers. (The only things he's said is his really strange infatuation with horses, eating Toblerone outside of caves, and going to Olive Garden frequently also having a total man crush on Dante Basco) He is the mastermind behind Homestuck and if he wanted to, could command a mass army of gray-skinned, pajama wearing, costumed children with a single Twitter post. (He actually thew that as a retort to a person's question.) And Homestuck, has actually been compared to Ulysses!
The main conflict in Homestuck is: The Game. The Game is a absolute blood-bath. In the beginning of time and space, there was The Game, it was called SBURB. The Game arrives on a planet after it reaches it's highest point of maturity, and for SOME REASON THAT IS BEYOND COMPREHENSIBLE, Adults let teenage kids play the game, which, whoopdee-fucking-doo ends the world. Depending on the session/planet, the game could have 2 to 12 players and everything that happens in the game has real life consequences, if you die, YOUR DEAD. Unless, you can join the God Tiers. Then after the original planet is destroyed, the players will get to make a new one, just like It, and they will be the guardians of the planet. Most, unfortunately, never witness this (I reiterate: Blood Bath) and they either kill themselves and watch their friends die, scratch and restart the universe, or wander helplessly until death takes them to the dreambubbles. From there, The Game picks a new planet and it starts all over.
Homestuck itself, starts out with a boy named John Egbert, and his 3 friends start to play this game. And well, it's all down hill from there...
