Description Sydney Carton, from Dicken's A Tale of Two Cities. Of all the books I've ever read for school, I genuinely enjoyed this one, if only for his sake.

Well, his and Madame Defarge's. She's pretty badass, I have to admit.

of course! he was the one redeeming character in that book, without him it would have bored me because the other characters were all just so... dumb.
and pure.
pure characters annoy me because there are no real pure people. its just.. blegh.
but yes, sydney carton rocks

Yes, she was! She and Darnay were so 'ure' and 'erfect' and unbelievably boring. They drove me insane with all their nonsense. My teacher was always telling us how Lucy was the golden thread that held them all together and I felt that she didn't deserve such a fancy name- she was more of a yellow piece of yarn.
