The simplest answer I could give you is to study what things look like in real life or in photographs. Β Compare your work with that and ask your self "why does mine look different?" Β I do this all the time and usually it comes down to correcting the lighting, colours and values.

I haven't done any reference drawings in quite some time. I think there are a couple of drawings in my gallery from back in 2000.
