This is an extensive personal revision of an editorial piece I finished a while ago.Painted in Photoshop CS3.

I love this. These are the sorts of things I want to do more often - pretty, a bit strange, and lots of room for reading things in. You just do it much better than me, so thanks for that.

I am sure you gave me inspiration about a belgian spiderman I invented since some months ago.
Her name is Spider Bubblegum.
It's a character inspired by Spiderman and a costume I made by myself with a little help from my family and I thinked it was so perfect on me. Ironically, I do wall climbing, contorsionism and I was bitten by a spider when I was a child.
I really like your photo, because it's magical and give a fantasy ambient. ^^

A Facebook page just shared this and I was laughing so hard because they actually thought it was real. One even accused the person in the drawing of animal abuse. Thank the art gods for Google Reverse image search.

My reason for staring at this picture was because I startd to wonder how it's possible to put anything this large in a bubble gum. But that's what makes the idea of this picture so unique! And of course disturbing, in a good way.

I knew right-a-way it was drawn for the fact that the hair gave it away. Other than that, it is a pretty damn convincing piece of work. XD

I love the warm colours that make the scene seem harmless and innocent
And then in contrast the huge spider, which really makes me shiver beeing so close to her mouth

You know, this picture is all sunshine and bubbles, but everyone seems to be missing the horror of this.
Tarantulas can shoot or release urticating hairs in the air, meaning it can release irritable barbs that cause severe discomfort.
In all seriousness though, this is a fantastic horror piece. I love the idea of a horrifying scenario lurking inconspicuously in such a bright, lively picture.
