After a violent meeting the woods, Barnaby and Grey became allies in a quest for destruction. Unrealized even to herself, Barnaby sees Grey as a mother-figure she can win the attention of...rather than her true mother, who sold her to the circus as a child.

Baba and Barnaby don't get along, but they are forced to tolerate each other around Grey.
