Yesterday i had my first shoot with a real proper model! and i LOVED it!This is Sou www.soudesade.com/
The set was Glasgow Necropolis, a huge beautiful graveyard high on the hills above Glasgow, Scotland.
This was one of the very first photos I took that day and I have nearly 70 more shots from the shoot which I love so you'l be seeing more of her!
I didn't do much PS on this, just a colour correction and slight vignette
As this is my first time all feedback would be highly appreciated! xoxo

you have a great way of capturing moods in your photography. Each of the three images has it's own, and all three share that spontaneous rather than posed feel. This is the least favorite of the three you've posted so far and I think it is because I don't like how the arm is cropped out I would like to see the entire arm with the bend of the elbow or less of it - similar to the opposite side

I kind of like this image ... not too complicated or overly wrought with details ... but your own headshots are still the magic that makes your photography spring to life here

I'm going to try really hard to find some criticism...
The composition is perfect... The pose is good... The model's look fits the setting (and she's beautiful)...
Her face is kind of flat, lighting-wise. I realize you're probably shooting available light on an overcast day, so lighting control is difficult, but I think the image would pop more if there were a bit of shadow on her face.
Maybe a hard strobe to camera right, even with the model, pointing at the model's face. If it were maybe a stop above ambient, it'd lend an element of depth to the portrait.

Great shot...her skin kind of glares though..a little on the bright side..But I guess thats what happens with people with pale skin (I know VERY well...being a very very pale person hah) I love her pose and her eyes are wonderful! Look forward to seeing more

In my own opinion...you've centered pretty good.
...the only part harsh to me is the lighting/contrast...looks too bright (around her face). But that's my view on it...
Beyond that, as I'm not as good with photography as you are, I find it quite good

For a first shot, great! I wish I could say my first attempts at modeling looked like this. The colors and overall brightness of the image is great, and your model has a great expression/pose.
On a side note, her eyes are really great. Did you do some ph to make them pop, or is it just how they came out from the shoot?

It might be nice to see slightly more of the location, but apart from that nothing jumps out to criticize. Model is passably good looking and quite my type even if not conventionally beautiful. Nice soulful look which may owe as much to what you bring out in people and scenery as to anything else.

well you already know I am muchly jealous of you for getting to shoot with Sou de Sade! I love the angle, the amount of photoshop is perfect as she still looks like a real person and the colours are gorgeous. can't really fault it!
