After the capture of Eddie the Maw, Prime Evil surrenders and takes the Filmation Ghostbusters back to him to their home dimension. Before joining Eddie Spenser, Jr., Cal Spenser, and Karen Kong on the trip home, Jake Kong, Jr. gives his hope that the Columbia Ghostbusters succeed in recapturing Samhain.

Venus de Milo of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the Crypt Keeper finally make themselves known and are informed by Ray Stantz and Roland Jackson that while they've beaten Eddie the Maw and Prime Evil, they still have to recapture the two ghosts freed from the Containment Unit. They already know Samhain is one of the escaped ghosts, but don't know who the other escapee is.

At least, they don't know until Mr. Fright starts showboating and once again sings a take-off of the Beatles song "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite".
