I love the way you've drawn the fabric, especially the sleeves, and the fact that you can see that the neck has been roughly cut and now sewn in. The smile is really Cole-like and adding the birds is such a good way of representing his sweet personality. Β Β (Did you decide to make him more human or more like a spirit, btw? I'm always so confliced because Varric is right but Solas is, I don't know, also right?)
The details of the hair are really nice, but I think that the distinct lines sort of take away from the very painted appeal you have in this piece, it's a bit distracting.Β

Hi ^^ thank you that's really nice from you! I got this idea of just the satisfied smileΒ (like okay I am under the rain but who cares the birds are safe XD)
Actually I didn't know how I'd make the hair, more painted, more realistic? I admit I am not really confident for the moment (I just startes at really painted illustration), I hope I'll make better things after! I didn't know myself if I wanted a more painted look or realistic (am I clear XD?). Maybe I was afraid to fail?
Actually inf my first game I made him more human. But then in my second I made him more spirit (I read Asunder between) and he seems so happy to help people again so Γ§_Γ§ idk it's hard. MaybeΒ he can still be our friend after all? (but yeah I love how Varric takes care of him).
