I like Zootopia and Moana too, 2d animation was my childhood but 3d animation is the childhood of a new generation and I respect it for that, just beautiful as it is!

Sure ! Zootopia was pretty impressive.
Just because 3D is easier to do doesn't mean we should stop doing 2D.
Especially not when 2D and 3D give very different styles and vibes.

Yes, that's why it's so strange, tv does 2d but it's more work but I think it requires less people?
Also Japan has gladly stood by their old traditions!

That's because doing 2D is cheaper if you do it in Vietnam and Korea and the such.
But you have less control over the quality.
3D is a bit more expensive (because made in rich countries) but gives more control.
