The background is done beautifully, but I feel it doesn't really fit into the style the characters are drawn in... (I had this problem too in one of my own drawings >.<) Leaving that out, I really like the picture! Especially the the characters are very lively and cute ^-^ And I like that you didnt put too many colors in there at once, this way the headband and the eyes of the girl make a nice contrast
