Personality/backstory: Lotus is a very loyal yet childish person, living within the royal court even if he's not of royal blood. He loves to prank other people around the castle and often gets away with it with a bright smile, even if he is seen acting childish with jokes and pranks he acts his age and is proper whenever it's needed. He takes his job seriously and is grateful for where he is in life, even if something appears to be missing. He always tries to brighten up peoples days and often seen comforting people, no matter their background or status. Lotus has always disliked blood as well as injuries, and often panics once starts to bleed when injured. As much as Lotus loves to dance he hates to dance with strangers, they rub him off the wrong way and he can always tell what they are truly after.
Lotus was born as a slave in the slave facility, during a dark and quiet night, and it's believed that his dull eyes are from the moon hitting his eyes as he opened them for the first time along side poor medical treatment. Five years went by and Lotus's eyes and sight got worse the longer he was exposed to the blazing sun and the unforgiving moons gaze. Five years pass and the slave market is overcrowded with young and sick children, in an attempt to stop the slaves from overthrowing him the slave master decided to exterminate the one thing that gave the slaves hope, the children.
Hearing the news Lotus mother, an unnamed slave going by number D23, escaped the facility with her only treasure with the cover of the night. Despite being worn out and malnourished the desperate mother went to the safest place in mind for her baby, the royal palace. She laid on the steps, taking her lasts breaths as one of the royal maid came out, with her final dying breath she pleaded and begged for them to take Lotus in and to protect him. The young, sick and malnourished boy was brought to the king and queen's attention, and once the royal couple laid their eyes on the sick child they felt horrified, imagining their own son and future children in his position. With a determined and direct order from the king the boy was cleaned, treated and fed, then later put under care of the same maid who found him and brought him in.
As Lotus got the right medical treatment and diet he soon gained strength and his sight back, but his eyes was a permanent dull color. Despite his past and the passing of his mother he's determined to make sure her sacrifice would not be in vain, and young Lotus quickly found his passion with dance, a way to express emotions that can't be told with words. He's now serving the royal court as a dancer entertainer.
