That is correct. The reason why is like animes with long ongoing manga's. Like Naruto,One piece,and bleach. Is that the anime catch up to the latest Manga chapter. When that happens the studio will ether do two things. First options is to do fillers, basically noncanon episodes into the manga get far enough,that the studio can go back to making episodes of the manga chapters. That what Naruto did with it 100 plus fillers episodes,into they did the Naruto Shippuden series. Or they do the second option. Instead of following the manga chapters they created there own episodes that has nothing to do with the Manga. That what happened with Full Metal Alchemist. When it caught up with the Manga. They decided to go with there own story, instead of the one on the manga. Speaking of Full Metal Alchemist. If you watch both Full Metal Alchemist,and Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. Then you will understand why people praise the manga over the Anime. Soul Eater is Full Metal Alchemist,while Soul Eater the Manga is Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood.

with me it was after pain that i stopped as i lost interest, that and the animation went to below fairy tail levels on some bits and it was just painful

i remember really liking the pain bit but re-watching it it cuts back and forth too much, 1 moment we are watching 6 tailed naruto fighting pain in some cool animation (in my opinion i like it ) then we spend about 9/10 of the episode going "how is shikamaru doing? he ok, good, how are his grades?, NEXT TIME THE SAME THING FOR 5 EPISODES" it is good but only in those small fight parts

Ah I see. Is it true about Naruto screaming for ten episodes? A friend of mine who did watch it. Told me he stopped watching it. Because of that.

don't remember that, but that makes me think back to when was goku going super saiyan 3 when i was like 6
there are a lot of issues but i don't remember THAT being one, though he does scream a lot and it gets annoying but it's never THAT long
