Patch was delighted to see spring finally come! He had spent the winter reading about gardening, and so once all the snow melted, he invited Posey to go seed hunting with him!

As they made their way along the jagged pass at the bottom of some steep cliffs, they heard the feeble cry of a runeboo. They found the boo collapsed on a ledge, blood smeared on the rocks around and above it, the trembling boo's body adorned with scrapes, bruises and cuts. Did the poor thing fall down...?

Neither Patch or Posey could reach the boo; and then Patch had the idea for them to climb on each other to be able to reach the runeboo! Posey volunteered to be on the bottom, since she was larger and more sturdy on her feet than Patch. Patch climbed on top of Posey; and standing on his hind legs, reached for the boo with open arms. The small creature was crying louder, shrinking itself into the rocks. Blood was dripping down its face.

Patch managed to grab the boo, but Posey couldn't handle the added weight and then all three of them collapsed into the dirt, breathing heavily.

After taking a moment to recover, Patch quickly got up and was at the boo's side in an instant. The boo seemed to have passed out from shock.

The two wynglings looked at each other, unsure what to do next. This runeboo needed help! But how could they carry it all the way back to town?

I am never... ever touching markers again as long as I live. At least not the cheap ones.

This was so hard to do, but managed to finish a polished piece using only markers! (well as polished as I could with those pieces of shit and limited colors). The lines, coloring and what I could do with shading was all done in marker.
