This is an attempt to emulate water colors. I tried to work from back to front, from light to dark. I used a new temporary layer for each new color, sharpened it when finished to get those crispy edges and flattened it down to the lower next layer. I was so happy with the outcome that I ordered a print on canvas and it looked even better then, so I made a Christmas present out of it!
By the way, this is the Schwammerlturm (Mushroom Tower?), located in the Town of Leoben, Austria.
