WOW I am so impressed with myself! I recently got my art machine (surface pro 2) back from repairs and decided to give it a try. Had a few warm-ups then decided to try a painted style.This started out as a basic Lugia shape that I just kept painting over for fun! It is a lot less stressful than my other cartoony style, but I still miss that style (and if only it wasn't so HARD to do).
Even this one I kept fussing over, but it was easier to work with than precise lines and colouring. I know there are some flaws but I don't care, I just had a lot of fun with this!!! ^V^

Well done! Mayhaps some fine lines and/or bubbles (?) could be fine additions? For the "illusion of movement" underwater. Faved and thanks for sharing.
