Yay a deviation and *gasp!* no outlines fer once! Inspired by the Chrono Cross - Opening instrumental. This exactly what I vision when I hear it; a great arabian stallion thundering over the desert with amazing speed with fire sparks at his heels with intense feeling. I tried showing the speed/motion by adding faded copies trailing behind. Hope it worked.Done entirely in photoshop, u steal I will HUNT YOU DOWN! I mean it this is one of mai fav works.

My only critique is that the back legs seem a bit short compared to the front legs, but overall it's an amazing picture! I love how you've got the sand blowing in the wind...or maybe it's clouds, I can't exactly tell...but it's beautiful. I love the horse's shadow and how it looks like there are flames around his hooves.

*gasp loudly*That's absolutly awesome! i mean it's beautiful! i like everything in that drawing..even if it's made in photoshop? anyway i on the other like to draw my drawings in pencil i don't really color them because it makes it ugly anyway it's AWESOME REALLY!!!

Shetan comes to mind (SP) the black stallion, where Black runs across the sand, yet it was never at night but the small figurine or the black looks just like you're drawing ^_^ love it

Oh, this is beautiful. I think you captured the movement very well. Lovely job on the lighting, the sand, and the clouds. I also like how you used a crescent moon instead of a full one -- full moons can be incredibly cliche. XD The trailing copies works pretty well with the feet (though perhaps they should be a little bit more transparent, but not so much at the horse's hind legs, by its flanks and suchlike. There it just looks odd. Nice job on the mane, and a pretty good sense of balance. Great pic!

I absolutely love that piece from Chrono Cross, and after reading that it inspired this pic, you know, I can really see the two fitting well together. I think you did great with the sense of motion, and that shadow from the horse is wonderful, excellent job on this.

This is a beautiful piece. The sense of motion is captured very well. The blurring, the streaking of the sand, the burning hoofprints left behind, even in the clouds the speed of the motion is evident. It's obvious that a lot of though went into the making of this picture, well done. I'm not familiar with the tune it's inspired by, so I can't comment there, but it is a very nice work of art.
