Disclaimer: despite being a huge fan of world mythology and religion, I know next to nothing about the Hindu religion. Well okay, I know some things, but not much when compared to, say, Greek mythology. So, I heavily apologize in advance if I get some things wrong.

Krishna is the Hindu god of protection, compassion, love, and care. He is also the main protagonist of the Hindu epic, Mahabharata, and is also the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu. Today just so happens to be Krishna Janmashtami, a Hindu celebration of the birth of Krishna.

I’m not very familiar with Hindu mythology, so again, I apologize if I got some things wrong. On a side-note, I really had trouble trying to get the position to look perfect. I drew and erased, again and again, but I’m very proud of managing to capture his youthful appearance.
