Description This artwork is fully hand painted by me, no special textures used at all, only brushes. 12 days of work in Photoshop CS3 & CS5.

I use a Genius G-pen F509: [link] and to make his hair took me 3 days because I the tablet has half the quality of a Wacom Bamboo.

What a beautiful powerful expression Craig has in his body and face- truly magnificent he is. I know a Craig The Wraith definately not this one though. this one is better looking - he'll get me for that later!

Thanks you, I am working now in a 3D scene with Benemoth alone. It was supposed to be naked but then I realized it didn't fit the background so I put him clothes... Nakedness... can wait

Full painting is always very hard but you realy managed to recreate the likeness of the character and there is no mistake it's a Wraith ! and don't stress about the hair ! you did a great job on them, there are details of lighting / shading that can be improved but it come with practise and with this one i'm sure you learned a lot ! and twelve days of work, haha that's some patience you gat there

ho last thing about the teeth, it's realy a small detail but i noticed the central incisors are smaller than the lateral ones kinda like that VvvV ( i know that's a realy small detail xD )

Wraith sometimes have their teeth so sharpened that are longer than human's and I've followed the sshot here [link]
You'll see they have sometimes their teeth a mess I even made them prettier

12 days is Ok for me, it's not long time. I am hysterical with details as people's face [link] ... or monster's in this case and I have done other works that took me an entire month as these 2: [link] (the texture of the 3D character was the long thing) and this digital painting [link]

I see what you mean for the teeth xD i told you that because i saw a props of wraith teeth from SGA during the last auctions where they sold all the props from SGA and SG1 that was a sad moment for a fan like me xO but at least there were intersting pics posted on the web.. like all the dress of the queens for example

that's a cool way of working !, i actualy try to work like that but inspiration is very tricky with me, usualy i work for 3 days without break, sometime i don't even sleep, if i leave the project and come back days after, it just doen't feel the same anymore x( and if i don't work on it it's even worse xD

Thanks my dear Elmysz, it was a long process but I'm happy with the results. I sometimes feel I have to make a semi realistic Predator too hun, as the ones we like.

The pleasure is all mine (really, it's pure joy to look at your work) .
It would surely be a lot of work, but then again... with the results you give us... it would be a masterpiece. It all depends if you feel like spending hours on the "crabface" (but it would be pure ambrosia for the eyes ).
