Ah, finally this drawing is done.
I think I got pretty lazy in the end - at the place where her leotard ends. Drawing cloth isn't my forte - and only at the last few minutes did I realise I was using wrong colour pencils. *dies*
But I guess it turned out OK.
This picture has more of the red colour because I have a tendency to de-colourise almost everything I see.
All the past Wip's of Aria had a saturation of -40. 
So, yes, this is how it mainly looks like in real life.
It was great fun to draw her. And I'll def. draw ballerinas again!--

Wow - really impressive work! Gorgeous textures in the skin and hair. You really captured her pose and expression beautifully.

I love the details in this drawing, from the clip in her hair to the delicate folds in her leotard (which I think are very well done!). Her neck seems to be a little bit on the narrow side for her shoulders though. Overall your lovely soft style shines through.

It's almost hard to believe at first glance that this isn't just a somewhat older, slightly grainy photograph. At the larger view, the clothing is obviously pencil-work, but the rest still has that remarkably accurate style. I'm very impressed by how you did her facial features and pose, and though you say you aren't a cloth person I think that with a little more practice you'll be just as good there, too.

You did such a good job transferring her grace to paper. So many times I see drawings of dancers that just look stiff, the lift and beauty gets lost in translation, but you nailed it.
