Commission for , featuring his two OCs: Mackenzie is visiting her ex, Chad, who is currently serving his time behind bars. The two of them just greeted each others with a hug and then, Mackenzie noticed a small detail reminding them of the cold reality...

DEFINITELY not an easy one: human interactions are complex to draw. I used colors pencils for the first drawing (different color for each character) and spent a good time on the computer trying some modifications.

But the real pain was actually none other than... the background. The scene is supposed to take place in a visitation room, you see. And we needed to show Chad's chained leg and both characters expressions, so they would need to be shown full body BUT with still expressives mood.

I've spent almost an entire day trying to get a decent background but i couldn't get anything, there were always something who feel off. I guess my bad habit of not thinking about the background before working really catch me here!

So, in the end, the result is way simplier that it was supposed to be.
