What the heeell?! o3oSo yes, I (finally) got Persona 3 for Christmas- I'm very late to get into this fandom, yes! 8U
Anyway, I was just playing while my brother was watching, and I was absuing and over-using my Persona for every little thing:
"HAY ORPHEUS, IT'S A LITTLE SQUEAKY THING, BASH IT TO DEATH WITH YOUR HARP. 8D" *BANG*
And then my brother said: "Y'know, if I was this guy, I'd never get this far."
"Hah, why?"
"Well, when he summoned his Persona thingie for the first time, he didn't know the gun wouldn't kill him if he shot himself with it, right? Just a hunch, really. Hell, I wouldn't do it!"
I laughed, "Well, I don't think any sensible person would, would they? But then you wouldn't have a game!"
This is the result! XD

Haha It's totally why game character have no interest in acting like real life people do. The Mc have ball of stell... or want to troll the Magician Shadow by killing himself with what he thinks being a real gun, denying the Shadow the opportunity of torn him aparts...

Pfff, yep. But I suppose if many video game main-characters reacted like... real people would to bizarre situations, we wouldn't have much of game. xP

Haha, this kind of reminds me of the bad end to Golden Sun. If you refuse to go on an adventure to save the world, the world climbs towards its fated destruction. Similarly, in this comic, if you refuse to summon your Persona, you get the early on bad ending!
...And the protagonist is so cute.

Yes, that's another thing I was wondering. XD Especially since Yukari panicked so much while trying to pull the trigger. It would probably worry you a little... XDD

Well, to be fair not only did Pharos tell him to do it but he saw Yukari do it twice. Plus, Minato isn't exactly normal.

Plus I suppose myself and a couple of my friends would be able to work out that the Evoker was not a real gun. The lack of safety, hammer, slide, ejection port and magazine would have clued us in 
I would have settled for doing it on the basis of how rad I would have looked doing it. Dramatic wind, GO! *bang*
