Valentine's Day Picture 2010
For my beloved Puschel, =BURNinNightmare ~

IT'S VALENTINE'S DAY!!!
And this is~ ... unrealistic, illogical and after all totally impossible!
But it's wonderful~ <3
Senseless babbling? Seems so, eh? But I'm talking about the scene of this picture. Valentine's Day with wonderful spring weather and blooming cherry trees~

*looks outta window* even if we weren't covered in 10+ cm snow, this would never happen... but you see it so often. Valentine's Day --> blooming atmosphere everywhere. I wonder why, actually but agree. A Valentine's Day all grey and depressing simply doesn't fit in my mind. It has to be at least some beautiful day with a lot of sunshine... then we can talk about snow. ö ö

Anyway... I did it?
Yes, it seems I did it! I actually managed to draw a proper anime picture for Valentine's Day. But what's more important: I managed to draw a MALE character! O_o
These two love-birds are Runa and Leo, the main characters of my and =BURNinNightmare 's story, for those who actually read the first part of it..

And now... die, die, DIE 2010, DIIIEE! D8<
I hate having to make a new signature... =3=;;
And my old one is left as brush in Photoshop CS3 of my old PC.... *sigh*

__About the Picture:__All this time I wanted to make some really nice V-day artwork... but I didn't feel like drawing CherryXBurn again because... well I dunno but they somehow seem so boring to me at the moment and I can't really identify with this couple for some odd reason. So I wanted to draw a picture of Runa and Leo, but all tries on a proper design of Leo pretty much failed already with drawing the head.
But after I finally read all 4 mangas of Mama Colle and was in a even more lovey-dovey mood, Burn came along saying, that the male main character's design isn't far from how he imagines Leo, either.
So I decided to give it another try and take the mangas as reference. But first of all I ended up thinking about simply copying a picture from the manga using it as a base, because I really didn't know, how the hell I should be able to draw something only partly good.

I don't really know WHAT made me to get back to try drawing something on my own in the end, but what's important, is that I actually DID it! And after all, it didn't turn out bad at all. o^o
Well okay, again I missed Runa's personality completely, but... it takes a long while until the two will get to this point of a relationship anyway, so maybe she's also changed a little over time.
And of course, again they look like kids! XD Oh well I guess this will never change. But it's in a way really cute.
The only thing that really bothers me is that I didn't only miss Runa's personality again but also her look. I guess I'll never manage to draw her hair right. It's much longer and also the front hairbangs (the long ones) are. They're actually meant to be somewhat similar to the typical hairstyle of long and straight hair seen so often in animes.. but it seems, something about straight doesn't work right in my head..
Leo also gives me some serious headaches in this picture. As I didn't know at all what clothes to give him, I simply stuck to the general clothing Burn himself wears so often: a cuddly jacket with a t-shirt underneath.
So in the end, my mistakes and problems on both of them caused them look pretty much like us again and not like... themselves..
But I seriously want to have this jacket of Runa's! o^o;
