Description This piece I did for my SO for Christmas... of a friesian stallion in attack mode. This, unlike many of my watercolors, was drawn freehand... in otherwords not grided. It came from a picture taken by Robert Vavra of two friesians fighting.

Colors used: payne's grey, vermillion

I keep coming back to this painting. You said you didn't grid this painting, you just painted it. Well, it is an excellant painting. I love it. I love the fierce look on his face, and the way your paint reflects the spontaneous lunging feel you get from the head of the horse. Every time I see it, I stop, and I enjoy the beauty.
