Physical Description
Bulky, sturdy body like a lion with the short soft fur of a leopard. Liel has a mane of bright yellow taking after his father, as well as spots and rosettes taking after his mother. He has Blue-green eyes and a dark pink nose. He has three distinct scars, one on his right shoulder, one on his throat (covered now by his mane), and one on his back left leg.

Ever since he was a cub Liel has been very outgoing. When he was a cub and adolescent he could talk someone's ear off and never knew when to shut up! As and adult and being in the city he's learnt when to shut up, however never lost that friendly and outgoing nature of his.

He has always been protective over his family, and grew even more protectie over them as he lost his parents and brother. He's very kind and loyal to those close to him and fears he will lose more loved ones.

Liel has aways put his best face forward, being the strong one for his family with the loss of his parents and brother. He knows when a situation is serious and how to act accordingly, often times taking charge of situations and being a very good natural leader.

If you sneak up on Liel, even if it's by accident, expect a slap in the face out of pure instinct!!

H I S T O R Y

Liel was born to Juniper and Lulius, a very happy air empire couple. He was one of the helthier in the litter of 5, his littler brother and sister were both very sick when they were born, resulting in his little brother Lefu dying not long after they were born. His sister, fotuneately, made it through the sickness and become a much healthier cub with time. This, however, made Liel very protective over his siblings (especially Rosemary, his sister). He wanted to be as big and as strong as he could. He knew how much grief this loss brought his parents and it made him the happy-go-lucky cub he grew, to cheer up his parents mostly, and be that little ray of sunshine they needed...even if he did get into trouble every now and then.

The family was very happy, thriving in air empire, and enjoying their little piece of heaven. One day, however, Lulius took Liel's brother Luba out for a little stroll out in the territory and never returned. The entire empire was puzzled about the disappearance of the two, no one could agree on how they had disappeared without any trace. Some said they were captured, others say they were killed, no one knew what happened and it left Liel and his family shattered, especiallly Juniper. Liel took it upon himself to be strong for his mom and family in that tough time. He of course was miserably sad as well, but he wanted to cheer up his now broken family. Juniper never really recovered from the loss of Lulius and yet another of her cubs. Liel did his best but she was never the same, and eventually died.

The loss of both of his parents hit Liel really hard, he was still trying to be strong for his siblings and tried to be there for them but it kept getting harder and harder. Then the fall of air happened and he was captured by hunters and put to work as a coliseum fighter. This was a dark time in Liel's life...he was beaten by the humans, the hunters, and had to fight no matter his condition. Even though being captured was one of the worst times of his life, he learned a lot from it, he learned how to fight and how to speak up for himself, he also learned how important connections were, even the small ones.

Eventually Liel escaped and headed back to the wilderness, there was no air empire to go back to, and he and his sister Rosemary decided to become rogues. This worked out in his favor, for he met an amazing young feline named Jericho, the two of them hit it off immediately and became pretty close. Jericho, however, had to leave with her adopted mother Cailleach. Liel was torn, trying to decide whether to stay as a rogue with his sister, or follow his heart and go after Jericho. After a week or two's time without Jericho, Liel decided he couldn't live without her, and went after the silver tigress. After a long and tiring journey, he finally found her and the coven she now belonged to. Liel promised he'd never leave Jericho's side again and pledged to be the protector of her and her coven.
