Grasping on to what little he has in the emptiness, his memories. Until eventually those have faded too.-
This was inspired by SCP 3001: Red Reality. This video about Red Reality Here specifically is what gave me the inspiration.
Listening to that I draw heavy parallels with Geno in the AntiVoid as he loses himself and turns into Error.
