Thank you so much for this. I've been trying to figure out what I've been doing wrong. The main thing ... I wasn't desaturating the model. Duh Β

Your tutorial is simple and easy to understand. I'm so glad I found this. Now I feel a lot more confident when I attempt another manip. Thanks again

I loved your sharing this tutorial, thank you!!!
I faved it and I'll download it ... I use color balance a lot, but I never desaturated to achieve better results. That tip is great and I'll try it!

May I ask how you get the amazing definition in your works? I'm new at TheArtofManiuplation and your work really called my attention. Then I made full view and I couldn't believe how fantastic the definition is...

Thanks for answering back !

Hmmm... let me see how I can explain...
When I do a manipulation, I usually get a very blurred definition
(as if I had used Gaussian Blur on the last layer, which I donΒ΄t).
Your works look perfectly defined: every line is so perfect!

aww thanks.
well, what resolution do you use? maybe you save the stock image in a very low resolution (pls click DOWNLOAD before saving, then you'll get it in high res!)
and try to put it on a really big file.
that can make the immage look blurred.

I apologize it took me so long to get back at you,
I was absent for some days !

I do download the images and I use their original size, normally.

Today I visited the gallery at TheArtofManipulation and The Promise called
my attention. That work is fantastic! and so eye catching!

And when I watched the two videos! How amazing it was to SEE you working,
I had never seen a manipulation being done like that, on a video, ever before.
It's like magic happening in front of my eyes!

At the end, you wrote that you sharpened the image one or two times.
The lady looked like mine look. Maybe the final sharpening makes the difference.
I never sharpen them before submitting and I'll give that a try.

Herzlichen Dank!

Liebe GrΓΌsse aus Uruguay,
Manny
