The world is ending, I submitted two days in a row!Another Copic x Airbrush practice for me. For Brad this time cause... I was a bitch to him, and feel bad.
ANYWAYS- Seig. Jumping. His leg looks fucked up now that I see it on the screen. His arm kinda. I'll leave that to you guys though. As always, feel free to crit.

Good stuff. Looking real good, I like the colors on the pants and the soft shadows. Bout the only critique I can offer is with the free hand. The gesture seems like it was forced, as if the character put the hand in that position for the picture. I don't know if that was intentional, but ya. Not much really. Other than that, I really don't see anything else sticking out. Real good job.
How are you getting the whites btw? Is that the white of the paper or are you using an opaque type marker? Or are you masking it, then coloring?
It's amazing how similar markers are to watercolor...

Yeah, I'm real sad about that hand. It wasnt intentional I'm afraid.
The white? I finally got white ink. Using a tiny paintbrush to add it on.

lol, that always kills me. On paper everything looks right no matter what angle I hold it on and then I bring it to the computer and *eye spasm*
Luckily, I think the problems you mentioned in this image are very minor and don't detract too much from a really fun picture such as this.

Eh, just for the kinda clean "We start with a slab of metal, and stick a handle on it" kinda efficient design. (Or as I've always called cloud's sword, the "sharpened girder on a stick"...) mind you this fella's weapon has a bit more detail to it...

well, generally swords are forged after pouring into a mold, and/or folding metal.. cloud's sword looks like they snuck into a construction site, stole a slab of metal, left it in the phife sharpener for a while, and stuck a handle on it.
Which kinda fits the whole midgar scene pretty well...

Only thing I really see kind of wrong in the leg/goot area is that the foot looks a bit flat but if u dont try to find the lil minor problem it doesnt matter. the leg looks fine to me tho ^^ and the coloring is amazing ofcourse! I envy ur marker skill! the shading and lighting is over all amazing <3

Very nice. I really love your new airbrush thing, wish I had one.
But anyway, I see what you mean by the leg looking off. Even in perspective that foot looks a little awkward, I don't know but something about it does fit right with me. However, I'm the last person to be critique'ing legs and feet .. I'm scared to death of them!
But I think the rest of it is really nice. I adore how you draw the creases in fabric, gives it a nice comic-book feel. And his grin is awesome!
