That Alclad II Looks fantastic on this kit. I must say, you did an excellent job in executing the chromed parts of your Strike Freedom.
I have heard of some issues with the wing supports and a certain peg that connects to the backpack. How is yours?

they're kinda bendy, but no cracks or breaks. I did tighten up where the two halves come together with some CA glue ro make sure the wings will stay posed up, but no modifications to the actual pegs were done.

I use Samuel's decals for almost everything I build. I also use Mr. Mark Setter and Mr. Mark Softer which will pretty much take care of any silvering issues you may have. Regarding the trials and tribulations of your finish, my G-System Allclad-rendered Elpeo Ple Qubeley says "Hi!". [link] I'm also working on something else in the same vein...

Yeah, that's what I used to do too, until Setter came along. But since the Setter acts as an extra adhesive for the decal, it really helps it to snuggle down. And yeah, the Softer works better with each "wash" you give it, although I fully understand the worry involved for your paint job. If you use Future as your sealer coat before the decals, the Setter/ Softer combo is generally harmless (lord knows I used enough of it on that huge "Qubeley" name decal! lol).
Looking forward to that RG Zaku!

something I've been wondering about- how much should I thin out the future/with what when i'm using it through the ol' AB? I've thought about using it in place of paying more for clear gloss cans and whatnot, but I've never really seen it mentioned on the few guides I've looked at. Will definitely be picking up some setter for the next model I do, I have a lot of Samuel Decals around for a few other kits in my backlog.
God knows when I'll get to the RG, I have 3 PGs and a few MGs to finish before I start on that, haha.
