Hello everyone!

This might come out of nowhere, but after many people suggested King Sombra as a future image, I paused and realised, I barely ever drew him fully to do this stallion justice. So now it's finally time for his own illustration, even if it's a rather simple one!

I do admit that I wanted to keep the background very simple and only focus on the character, his pose and physique. He's powerful, aggressive and won't hestitate to enslave and conquer the land. I was inspired by the dark/brown-is colours featured in the MLP episode where he does invade the chrystal empire. It seems it now has turned into a desert like wasteland and all that's left are rocks, chrystals, maybe some stairs off screen.

Anyways, I really had fun creating an image of him, even if his armor wasn't the easiest thing to draw, I think it turned out decent enough The floof on his cape really looks a bit like Popcorn and I like that haha. Last but not least I enjoyed working on his face/facial expression! I can't wait to hear what you think of this poster-like illustration^^
