Description
This is one of the photos I took during a photosession of a friend's dogs. This husky was particularly indefatigable and kept running up and down the pathes and meadows for us
I like the flow of the path in the background, which makes the setting look a bit like a painting.
Hope you like, even if it's not a wolf

This is what I would say would be the perfect picture. You have EVERY element there. Perfect DoF, the rule of thirds is executed perfectly, the lighting is spot on and the photo speaks a thousand and one words.
I never really add to favorites, I just post my work. This will be the first photo there.

Da hast du den Moment wirklich schön eingefangen.
Ich hab sowas selber mal probiert mit unserer Katze und der alten Nikon F-801 meines Vaters die ich zur verfügung gestellt bekommen habe.
Den AF kann man bei dem 82-85mm f/3.5-4.5, welches drauf war, schonmal vergessen. Aber selbst mit manueller fokussierung hatte ich probleme. Dabei ist unsere Katze nichtmal gerannt, sondern ging gemächlich auf mich zu. Irgendwelche Tipps? Vllt. sollte ich einfach vorfokussieren^^

Also mit manueller Fokussierung ist sowas wirklich schwer einzufangen - da braucht man dann schon viel Glück und/oder viele Versuche. Du könntest natürlich vorher auf einen bekannten Punkt fokussieren und dann (mehrfach) auslösen, wenn die Katze diesen Punkt erreicht hat. Besser ist es natürlich, wenn man einen funktionierenden AI Servo Modus hat - dann braucht man oftmals immer noch Glück, weil der nicht immer perfekt funktioniert, aber die Chancen stehen deutlich besser, vor allem weil man im Verlauf mehrere Auslösungen hat, die passen können.
Wenn du sehr gutes Licht hast, versuch es mit einer möglichst weit geschlossenen Blende (aber fall nicht unter ca. 1/800), dann fällt ein nicht ganz so perfekter Fokus dank der größeren Schärfentiefe nicht so stark auf. Ich denke aber, das Bild hier würde mit einer weiter geschlossenen Blende nicht mehr so stark wirken, weil die Freistellung / das Bokeh doch stark zur Bildwirkung beitragen. Also - viel ausprobieren
