Ahhh, I was so nervous about doing the background since I'm rather rusty with watercolor. I also wanted to try out the salt technique. It worked for the most part though I wish there was more white showing through. But I'm happy with it.Copic and Prismacolor markers, white gel pen, white ink, white paint pen, silver paint marker, a tiny bit of colored pencils, and watercolor on 12" x 12" watercolor paper.

I think it turned out great! The background worked real well! The salt gives a sort of could be stars, could be snowflakes thing! ^^

Yeah, I wish they turned out brighter. But I still like the effect they give.
