Hey, for some reason DA has decided to blur this picture. This is really annoying, but if you zoom in on it you can see it properly. Sorry for inconvenience.

I've been revisiting The Wizard of Oz (the book), and I'd forgotten just how dangerous Dorothy's journey actually was. The first book has so many decapitations that it's even become a meme in some corners of the Oz fandom! Luckily Dorothy has Toto, and her trio of surrogate dads, to look out for her, but to be honest as fun as the first Oz book is to read, I don't think I'd want to be in her place, lol.

I wanted to base Dorothy's look on book descriptions, but it turns out that she isn't really described much at all, so that was hard. I still tried to follow the few descriptions she has, though, and I based her outfit on research I did into Victorian prairie dresses, as well as Denslow's original illustrations.
