Since it's Febuary...and the month of love...i thought i'd be nice and share him. So, here's Capt'n Jack Sparrow to give you all a little gift this Valentine's day!
Happy Valentine's Day done for valentine's contest.
EDIT: i just wanted to add some technical stuff i left out: I am -very- proud of this picture. I smile and sqee everytime i look at this. *sqee*
I am terrible at drawing men so, the upper body doesn't quite look right to me, but i'm not sure what to do to make it look better. that's my only peeve about this drawing....other than that, i'm statisfied with everything else.

Okay, so like a million years later I still come back to this when I'm just like, "Jack is great, and attractive."
When I first started drawing him I was just digging your art.
So I'm back here today reminiscing.
I find it deeply amusing that your were saying you thought his anatomy was wonky and such. Because I was thinking "wow, she can draw hot men!"
Anywho, this is still great, a million years later.
I shall cease my ramblings now.

Well, something I don't know if I've said it before- but your work is pretty damn clean. Great quality pencils/line work. I don't know what picture you used for referance... maybe if you linked to your referance pictures, it would be easier to critique this type of work.
The bottom half doesn't look as hot as his upper half. Maybe shadin in his nipple thingies woulda helped...

lol.....actuallly i didn't use any reference for this. I tried to, but it wasn't turning out the way i wanted it, so i flipped the reference pic over, put it away, and drew from memory. I'm really bad at drawing men....i'm not very good at it....i need more practice. eh, i noticed that too....something was missing from the shoulders down....but i didn't know what it was. thanks for the tip....and if you or anyone else has any tips on how to draw men i would greatly appreciate it!

Men of Blue. I'll be putting up a technique I've been practicing with that book soon. I just have to explain the damn technique... -_- difficult in words... (imo)
but... that book is like... eye candy referance and learning for the artist soul.
