a gift for a friend :3 probably one of the best pieces I've done yet honestly, and I'm in love with this new shading/lightin technique, it's really quick and fun and I luv it
DDDDD ok not REALLY quick, but it's slightly quicker XDAlso I really love the background in this, it's simple but such pretty colors, looking at 's art inspired me to do those colors/blendyness for the background ^w^ but anyway yes, I do like this piece :3

A lot of colors going on here; which means a greater potential for clashing or jarring combinations. However, they all seem to fit nicely; not just the greens and purples of her pattern, but the other purple tones fit in as well (end of the hair, accessories). These colors are all supported by the background colors, which really helps pull the piece together. I also love the use of shading in place of "harder lines" on parts of the body (top of the hip, arm muscles); it really helps give the picture a sort of cleaner, purer feel as far as the color and shading are concerned. There's many other details as well... really is an awesome piece.

ikr so many colors xD and yeah background is nice :3 I have a tendency to outline a lot of lines that shouldn't be like you said but I figured I wouldn't this time
