Beautful use of colors! What did you use to give it such a transparant faded look? (the colors)

Thanks for the quedtion!! I used copic markers to background

1.Fill the background with some of colors of copic markers.
2.Place a some drops of colorless copic ink on the background. It makes copic markers bleed.
3.Turn the sheet back. And draw petterns with pens.
