In this piece, I have further extended my concept of “the Looking Glass” from my journals onto the cover of a Keepsake box. I am thrilled that it worked out pretty well especially when paired with the simple rustic diary-journal I have included in the box. This diary is a little different from what I would normally do. The pages are made out of thick watercolor paper. Stained and stamped with coffee, the motifs will disintegrate when they come in contact with water. Which makes it even more intriguing, in my opinion.
