Loose master study of Todd Lockwood's TemeraireHave you guys ever did a master study? For me it was so intimidating
to dare to step up to my greatest master of all, but also even tho don't
really come close to the original (partialy because I wanted to give it
a little twist with warmer lighting) I've learned so much! It also felt nice
to be guided for once..

This is really great, I LOVE those scales! The highlights on them make them "pop" very nicely! I also enjoy how you made the wings seem translucent from the light. So beautiful

I think the last time I attempted a master study was a million years ago when I was doing art in high school, haven't done any since XD Love the lighting particularly on the scales. It's come through the transluscent membranes all right too. Think your perspective may be slightly wonkered but anyway. Really good job on that glowing eye

I don't know how likely you are to encounter something like master studies casually, you'd have to be really, really interested in art or have done art classes I think XD Also don't think it matters when you do it, might not even matter if you do it, the important thing is that you learned stuff right
