I Love This - Also How Old Do You Think The Light Fury Is? Because In The 2nd Movie Hiccups Mother Said That The Ear-Like Nub Thingy's Tell How Old The Dragons Are And She Said That Toothless Was The Same Age As Hiccup Witch At The Time Was 17 Or 18. In The Third Movie (Trailer) The Light Fury Gets Introduced, Using The Same Logic How Old Do You Think She Would Be? (I Think Hiccup Is 24-25 In The New One) I'm Just Really Curious On Other Peoples Thoughts. Once Again Really Love This And Your Art Style.Β

As for the dragons' ages, I don't think that it works the same way for Toothless and the Light Fury. In the second movie Hiccup was actually 20 - and Valka stated that Tooth was the same age as Hiccup by counting those little nubs under his jaw. The overall design for Tooth was slightly different in HTTYD 2 because the creators wanted him to look a bit older. Now, we have seen that the Light Fury doesn't feature those nubs: it might be because she's younger than Tooth, but it might also have nothing to do with age and just be a specific feature of the Light Fury subspecies. In fact, the Light Fury doesn't even have spines on her head, on her back and behind her front legs like Tooth does, BUT she's as big as he is. So, the lack of nubs on the Light Fury may not be an age factor, and she may very well be as old as Toothless, or close to his age.Β

i know i wasn't who you were asking, but hypothetically, if the more ears they have the older they are, then she would probably be younger, i'd assume around 5-7 years younger.

ohhh, i didn't notice the little ear nubs, lol! i think toothless' smaller ear nubs represent less age; for example, the larger ones are probably around 5 years, and the smaller ones likely equal 3 years, so around 17-18 years, like hiccup. going off of that, she is likely around ten years. currently hiccup is 24-25, so perhaps that would change a bit? around fifteen years, perhaps? i'd say between 10 and fifteen years.
