Lycanium doesn't hate wolves..come on guys..Notice in the description it says this was a commission. What you get from a piece of art, whether it be sadness, a sense of anger, happiness, etc..It's how you feel, what you portrayed from the art. You don't know what the artist was thinking while they made the piece. Pain can also symbolize beauty, a sense of learning and growing, it doesn't always have to be sad. A little blood in the drawing? So what? Not your drawing? Not your problem. Artists draw what they want. I'm sure I'll get some hate comments for posting this, but for the people with an open mind that actually read through to the end and saw some meaning in this, keep doing that. Didn't mean anything rude from this comment.

This comment took quite a bit and before it takes even longer to unexpected happenings such as today ... ehem, I simply try to put my happiness into words, even if it always is kind of a challenge ...
But this picture just is so well done and amazing in composition, colouration and execution, it made me speechless for a pretty long time. I enjoy your artworks for some time now, and finally I took the opportunity and I can admire my character drawn in your beautiful style. Ahhh <3
Your artworks of this darker type always have this special something, it's not just "vent", it's some kind of deeper aesthetics. Very inspiring in its beauty and expression (: And your anatomy always is done so well, very nice curling up posture and I especially like the paws and long hindlegs; perfectly fitting my straying dog.
And then there is this beautiful background, this colouration! On top the sky is so smooth from the watercolour texture, getting more blotchy on the bottom, what creates a very nice movement as well. And those stars in the darker part! In addition to the bg, the wires really separate the picture nicely and add to the whole atmosphere and mood.
